Reform Physiotherapy and Pilates are delighted to announce that we now offer Reformer Pilates!

Reformer Pilates is a form of pilates that uses specific pieces of equipment to assist in your workout. ‘The reformer’, invented by Joseph Pilates, consists of a bed-like platform with a carriage on it attached by a set of springs.

The brilliant thing about ‘the reformer’ is its versatility-exercises can be done lying down, sitting, standing, upside down and sideways. Using this sleek piece of equipment, and with the guidance of a Physiotherapist, you can exercise all parts and dynamics of the body in so many different ways.

What I love about ‘the reformer’ is that it uses resistance to make all stretches, strengthening and balance exercises more effective. This allows for a huge variety of exercises ensuring you will never get bored! The varying resistance also means that it can be adapted for beginners, those injured or challenge even the most advanced.

Come try it out at Reform Physiotherapy and Pilates in Malahide. I will design an individualised program for you that will suitably challenge you, and help you to achieve your goals! Call 086 358 2911 to make an appointment for your initial assessment.

Anne 🙂
