REFORMER PILATES TEACHER TRAINING COURSE

Become a Qualified Reformer Pilates Instructor

This comprehensive Reformer Clinical Pilates Teacher Training course is designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to safely and effectively teach prescriptive exercise using the Reformer Pilates Machine.

Our aim is to ensure you gain a deep understanding of teaching principles to deliver high-quality Clinical Reformer Pilates, whether you are instructing individuals or group classes for the general public.


 

Who is this Course For & Prerequisites

This course is aimed at professionals who already possess foundational knowledge in anatomy and physiology.

You must be currently qualified or actively studying one of the following:

  • A Health Care Profession (e.g., Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.)

  • Strength and Conditioning Coach

  • Exercise Physiology

The course assumes a level of knowledge typically acquired in the preliminary years of these qualifications to allow for a deep engagement with the teaching material.


 

Course Structure & Breakdown (63 Hours Total)

Component Duration Description
Contact Hours 32 Hours Led by experienced Pilates instructors and Chartered Physiotherapists.
Self-Directed Learning 20 Hours Independent study to deepen your understanding.
Observation/Supervised Teaching 10 Hours Practical application completed after the initial training sessions.
Final Examination 1 Hour Assessment of theoretical and practical knowledge.
TOTAL COURSE HOURS 63 Hours  

 

Examination and Certification

Upon completion of the course, you will be required to successfully pass the final examination, demonstrating both your knowledge of the course material and your competence in teaching Reformer Pilates.

You must also present evidence of the minimum 10 hours of observation and supervised teaching.

  • Certification is provided by the CThA (Complementary Therapists Association).

  • Outcome: Successful completion certifies you as fully qualified to teach Reformer Pilates.


 

Course Cost

The full course cost is €1380.

A €150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place upon booking.

The course will take place over 2 weekends. The next course will take place in Sept/Oct 2026. Exact weekends to be confirmed soon.

Weekend 1: September 12th and 13th

Weekend 2: October 17th and 18th
